Now you know the big dogs face

Thought I would throw my ugly mug up here so you would have a visual of who's doing this yapping off ! I really do like to hear from people all over the world. I really do like getting Kites and visual delights from Hard bellies.

Some of the runs I hit this Year:

Bearberry Bike rodeo, Helps send Kids with Cancer to summer camp.

Wayne Run and Rodeo, just for fun run sponsored by the Wayne Hotel.

Sturgis, See the Musings of my virgin Sturgis run.

Cranbrook BC. The Rocky Mountain Rodeo, proceeds are used by AIM ( not Lesters AIM ).

TO CLEAR THE AIR**** I HAVE SPECIAL PET PEEVE AND THAT IS TRAILER TRASH. I own a 30 ft motor home and a truck and my bike does not attach behind them. Unless it breaks down. The Rv has been to a few runs but I always ride there and back. I firmly believe that I bought my bike to ride and if I am going to own it I am going to RIDE IT !!!! So I am a true R.A.T.T. ( that is Riders Against Trailer Trash ). My only suggestion to cure this is ride it like you own it or SELL IT !

My thoughts on Sturgis

Well I guess I have to say first that 98 was my first trip to Sturgis. The ride down was great! Since I am from Canada and we have some tough lid laws I had never had the chance to go blasting down the highway with the wind in my hair. Wasn't to sure for the first couple hours. Once I got used to the idea of the wind massaging my scalp, I started to love it. ( even though it gave me a rats nest for a hairdo the first day ) My friends and I arrived at Sturgis 4 days before the rally and set up camp at glencoe in section 2,part of the bikes only area. It was wild watching the stores clear out and the vendors move in and get set up for Sturgis 98. Man does main street ever change. Over the next week and a half I met alot of great people, from all over the world. The worst thing about it all was the couple days of hard rain that made Glencoe home to Mudfest 98 for the first 3 days of the rally. The best part of all the mud was being able to spot the trailer trash that tried to camp in the Bikes only area. We all did our best to make those little babies on their clean bikes, with their dry gear leave and camp with the rest of the ** RV , truck and trailer Bikers **.

BEST POINTS:The ride to Sturgis, Great people, Great rides in the area, Outlaw drags in Buelah, Winning enough to pay for the trip in Deadwood, Shade in the camp ground after it dried up.

WORST POINTS: # of people who haul their bikes, Mud in Glencoe ( you would think for a place that takes in as much money as they do each year the might lay in some ashpalt on the main roads ), The Busing Bikers ( a bunch of rich Bike owners that travel together and generally make me want to Puke ), Way to many Idiots lolligaging, when they should be paying attention, to where their riding and the rules of the road, Last but not least *** the Police overkill during the rally ***

Something worth mentioning is the Whitten family from NH. This family lives and rides like most of us wish we could. They rode 2300 miles of scenic trails getting to Sturgis. The youngest rider was Christy (17), she had her license for 3 days before hopping on her decker and making this trip. As their children come of age, and prove themselves Mom and Pop Whitten get another new bike and give their Kid their Harley. PRETTY COOL HUH! SO from me A special "HI" to Bob and Marilyn and their kids, Rob, Marilyn,Christy and Bretton.

Also a big "How's it going EH !" to Steve from NH the king of Kawi's ( for now! )

To BEAR from Texas, Was proud to make your aquaintance.
