promoters: trailblazers or social whores?

Those who organise events have no doubt helped many a kl-ites' bored and empty diaries. motives have been moot and patents have been whispered but "legends" nevertheless these pioneers have become:

lab dna: yee i-lann and nani kahar

these dames (artist/tv art director and architect, respectively)have probably organised the most glamorous and imaginative of parties, the coup d'grace of course being the pudu jail party. since that however, politics and its mighty warriors have stepped in and the couple have been discouraged. events organised: kapitan club party (djs: air con guys), rooftop IMC building party (djs: same), pudu jail party (djs: some UK djs, sasha, etc).

boys cut and uncut: doggy, moggy, tim, yoga, full list pending

coming from the fey community, this group of ten allegedly started the whole ball(s) rolling with the party at caesar's palace. rumour has it that their passionate parties has even galvanated copulative activity at one. events organised: seasons towers, rave at tim's bangsar house, helped out pudu prison party, paragon studios (dj's murali, sasha, etc).

tempo: gabriel and rizal

the professionals, these guys are both djs and guardian's at the aladdin's vinyl cave that is Singles Shoppe in Wilayah Complex. Gabriel with his funky house repertoire, has been known to have the midas' touch with clubbers which has showed sufficiently. of all the promoter groups, this is the most commercial with hi-costs (snazzy flyers and all), higher cover charges and more frequent events. events oranised: new year's eve paragon party (djs': gabriel, mark, rizal, su), jan 31 energy party (djs: gabriel, rizal), valentine rave

space: sacha, feisal, colin
recent events include fluid and one at deep, bangsar.

pink and yellow promotions: kesh, jerry, donovan

gillazia: murali, mark
the newest kid on the block. you've probably seen mu twiddling his knobs live on the 303 at various previous raves and mark of course, is the long-haired one from boom boom.

nb: there is also rumoured to have been a rave long before all this in the jungle near ukay heights. any knowledge of the event or the promoters will be well appreciated.
