Events consisted of relays such as the 1000y freestyle relay, the 400y backstroke relay, the 400y breaststroke relay, the 400y butterfly relay, the 400y freestyle relay, the 500y crescendo relay, the 200 medley relay, the 200 freestyle relay, the 400 medley relay, and the 400 freestyle relay.

Quad Meet at IUPUI Natatorium

Butler's women defeated IUPUI 60-51, but fell to Western Illinois, 81-30, and Valparaiso, 58-37. Butler's men tied IUPUI, 54-54, and dropped decisions to Western Illinois, 96-15, and Valparaiso, 58-37. Butler's men picked up individual runner-up finishes from senior Mike Young in the open 200 butterfly (2:12.91), junior Brandon Judkins in the men's open 200 freestyle (1:51.94), and freshman Brett Balhoff in the men's open 200 I.M. (2:03.76). The women's team had runner-up finishes turned in by freshman Gina Sciortino in the women's open 1000 freestyle (11:12.69), freshman Tracy Wilhite in the open 200 freestyle (2:00.66), and freshman Anna Pecharich in the women's open 50 freestyle (25.67).

Butler vs. Xavier at Hinkle Pool

Butler hosted Xavier University in a dual meet in Hinkle Pool on Halloween. Butler's women posted a 114-82 victory over the Musketeers, while Butler's men fell 120-85. Double winners for Butler's women were freshmen Anna Pecharich (100 butterfly, 500 freestyle), Tracy Wilhite (100 freestyle, 200 freestyle), and Gina Sciortino (100 backstroke, 1000 freestyle). Also turning a first place finish was freshman Melinda Harald in the 100 breaststroke. On the men's side, junior Brandon Judkins won the 200 freestyle, freshman Brett Balhoff won the 200 I.M., and freshman Brian Fabbro won the 500 freestyle.
