Daley Wong
Daley Wong is Leon McNichol's partner in the AD. Police. Like Leon, Daley's willingness to actually serve and protect is nothing short of astounding. He is very intelligent, more the brains than the braun, although when necessary Daley is willing to act like the cop he was trained to be.
Daley was drafted to the AD. Police without his consent but made himself at home when he learned that fighting orders was possibly the worst thing to do. Daley is indispensable to the AD. Police, putting far more thought into words and actions than the average Mega Tokyo cop of 2034. He also happens to be one of the few who will listen at meetings and take notes where he believes that should be taken.
While probably not the supreme shot or pilot that Leon is, Daley has other qualities that make him well-suited for a job with the AD. Police, among other things being a good listener and a quiet contemplater. He is openly gay and does nothing to hide it, but his personality is so friendly that no one bats an eye when Daley makes him 'commentary,' particularly not Leon, who plays along with the inside joke that someday they might have a relationship beyond being friends.
