Doctor Yuri/The Geo Climbers
Doctor Yuri was once an assistant to Doctor Stingray. At the time, it was thought by many that Doctor Yuri would be the one to continue successfully with Doctor Stingray's Boomer Research. However, Doctor Haynes, who had promised Sylia Stingray that he would take her father's research and complete it, was the one to do just that, angering Yuri with his findings in the world of Boomer research. So enraged and jealous was Yuri that he teamed up with Largo and had Doctor Haynes slaughtered, stealing the advanced second-generation Boomer Adama.
Not one to be pushed around, Yuri soon tired of Largo's insistent requests concerning research and new discoveries, referring to Largo as a 'damned terrorist.' All went straight to hell when Yuri managed to lose Adama and was then and there, without words, given a death sentence by Largo. His attempts to get Adama back would have been futile had he not had his own advanced Boomer, a combat type that, while powerful, was no more intelligent than a child's remote controlled toy. Yuri planned to use Adama's AI to further his projects, but he was too late to prevent his own death: Sylia Stingray took his life in vengeance for her father and Doctor Haynes.
The Geo Climbers was the team of specially created and trained Boomers that Doctor Yuri planned to use to recapture Adama. They were destroyed by Priss Asagiri.
