A small Texas town poisoned with greed and corruption sets the stage for a battle for honour, justice and freedom on the home front in ‘An American Story.’

Six soldiers return from WWII – all of them friends, all of them heroes. But behind the honorary speeches and homecoming parades lurks the worst type of corruption: a government that operates on kick-backs, graft and extortion…a mayor who profited from the war they were fighting…and a sheriff who controls the people with violence and intimidation.

Against the wishes of their loved ones, the soldiers organise their own political party and campaign to unseat the local government. But they have no idea how far the mayor will go to keep his power.

Risking their very lives, they must now fight their greatest battle for freedom where they least expected to: at home.

Tom has a good deal of screen time in this movie and is superb in his role.
