Stephen was very happy to discover that his "Morning Supervision" day at Samantha's school fell on Halloween Day. Morning Supervision duties consist of opening doors in the car line for the children being dropped off at school in the morning and directing car and foot traffic around the entrance to the school sidewalk. It is staffed by parent volunteers. Of course, Stephen had to dress up for his duties on Halloween ... and he was the only one in costume.

Samantha and Christopher were invited to an after school Halloween party. The party would last until time to go trick or treating. It is always more fun to go trick or treating in a large crowd. Tana made "burrito bugs" for the kids to eat at the party. They were a big hit. They were made of little cubes of turkey breast rolled into a flour tortilla with cheese slice legs, apple wedge wings and raisin eyes.
