Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful cities that
I've ever seen. Driving into Savannah, one drifts back in
time to the bygone days when cotton was king.
Jones Street - brick streets abound...overshadowed by
the Live Oak Trees and Spanish Moss.
Originally the home of famed songwriter Johnny Mercer's
great-grandfather, but more recently the scene to a murder
as told in the book and movie,
"Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil".
A beautiful fountain in one of Savannah's many parks.
No, its not a bum...just my own Forrest Gump!*L*
The Eliza Thompson Bed & Breakfast
where we stayed.
The courtyard of the Bed & Breakfast
The oldest and largest lighthouse in Georgia
still in operation on Tybee Island.
