-- CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT --

**********(Lindsay's point of view)**********

I awoke to a pleasent scent, a scent I associated with sweet warmth and love. My eyes fluttered open and I observed my surrondings. I looked down and smiled at my precious lover who was sleeping peacefully on top of me, his head lying on my chest. I lifted up my hand and stoked his hair, while I gazed at him breathing. God, he was so fascinating even when he did something so simple as breathing. I smiled as Faith Hill played through my ears, making the moment more memorable.

Even though his hair was a bit tangly from the dried sweat, it was still soft and my fingers glided through it with little struggle. My other hand travled down his neck and rubbed his back, still slightly damp. My fingers moved in slow cirlces on his soft skin, massaging his muscles gently. I leaned my head down and kissed his head, before resting my own on top of it. I wrapped my arms around him and closed my eyes, my soul at ease. I didn't realise how much I loved Zac, I felt so ashamed for treating him so poorly and doubting him before I went out and froze. He went out in the freezing cold for me, he took care of me, he held me, he cried for me, and he made love to me. That was the most amzing, incredible, wonderful, indiscribable experience of my entire 19 years of life. We became closer as our souls touched, and I saw how much he loved me and how much I loved him.

It blew me away how much I do. He was a gift from God, a gift that showed me life was indeed worth living even if my mother wasn't on earth, a gift that made my religious faith grow, a gift that made me realise that I definately, without a single doubt, wanted and needed to spend the rest of my life with Zac. It was ironic though, since fornication is a sin. But, of course, you can't take The Bible litterally. Maybe fornication ment sex without any love, lustful sex; and neither him nor I commited that. We were now married in the eyes of God, and i smiled while i silently thanked Him for the blessed gift.

"I love you..." i whispered in Zac's ear before i closed my eyes again. Shortly after, i drifted into sleep again, my mind filled with wonderful dreams.

**********(Taylor's point of view)**********

Tasha and I walked down the hall until we reched Zac's room. I peeked my head through the door and saw that there was no life present in the room at the time.

"Hmmm, odd. I ownder where the little bugger is," I spoke, still looking around the empty room.

"Maybe they're still downstairs," Tasha suggested as we walked away from the doorway.

"Hmm, maybe. Or, they're in here..." i trailed off, when i noticed Lindsay's door was closed.

We looked at each other and nodded before i turned the doorknob and pushed it open. The lights were dimmed and both her closet and bathroom doors were open, not to mentioned a large heap of both male and female clothes that were scattered across the floor. It didn't take long to figure out what just happened when I noticed the two naked under the sheets.

Now, being his older brother, this experience was just a little bit....weird. Okay, that's an understatement. It was FREAKY! I mean, i know they love each other and all, but I...I just couldn't picture the brother I had known, the one who's one and only love was once sugar, all grwon up and...proving his ability to use his tools shall we say. OKay, that was wrong to say....proving to his little lady that he loved her. There, that sounds less pornish. Pornish, heh heh, i just up a new word. hehehe

Anyway, Tasha looked to be feeling a few emeotions about this. She looked a little discusted, a little in awe at the love that was apparant in the room, and strangely a little bit haunted. That I couldn't figure out. Tasha and I were still staring at the two bed-ridden lovers while Zac began to stir. He woke up, adjusted to being awake, looked up at Lindsay and smiled, before he noticed us there. His smile instantly turned into an angry scowl and he put his arms around Lindsay protectivly.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE YOU PERVS!" He hissed in fury. I grabbed Tasha's hand and we both ran out of there as fast as we could and shut the door behind us. We ran all the way downstairs and to the den, sitting on the couch. After She caught her breath, Tasha looked at my face and noticed the expression i was showing.

"You a little weirded out?" she asked, patting my hand affectionately.

"Yeah, to say the least," I answered, looking at her face as I spoke.

"I understand. Well, I'm sure everything will get less weird in a few days. Just put it behind you and don't worry about it. But just don't let them do it in front of us," she returned.

I smiled before leaning in and kissing her. We laid in front of the fire, enjoying the tranquility of the season.
