For every soul that leaves this earth
a new one take's it's place,
and life goes on much the same
without the familiar face.
So how is it we could love so much
the person who once was here,
and expect to go on as before
without our loved one near?
It is through love that we are able
to let go of the one we miss,
to let them finally have the peace
of knowing we will still exist.
