GRAPHICS

These graphics links are largely those which taught me how to enliven these pages, or who provided the animations or clipart you have seen throughout them.  I have tried to include all those who demand credit for providing these services, but if I have left any out it is usually because they were trapped in some frame and I have failed to reconstruct the bookmark properly.  Just let me know if you see your stuff without credit here. I urge everyone with a website to include a framebreaker on their site and even on every page....I intend to go back to all mine and do so.   Down with frames.

http://www.bellsnwhistles.com Bells n' Whistles is a great site full of information.  If you go nowhere else, go here

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/ HTML Goodies is full of super scripts for using java and lots of tricks of the trade

http://webclipart.miningco.com/ The Mining Co. is super for categorizing graphics & finding specific things, but I gotta say it: this is the most offensive frame site in terms of masking original addresses, so be aware.

temple_logo.jpg (6137 bytes)  The Temple of Graphics has some tips, some horizontal lines and some animations

http://www.cbull.com/back.htm Bull's Backgrounds, Buttons and Bars.  Some real pretty things here.

graphic.gif (4632 bytes) Over the edge animations has some cool things and lots of animations.

http://www.animfactory.com/ This looks like The Mining Co. but who knows? Check their Animation of the Day

http://www.talstar.com/cat/graphics/index.htm#menu This one is so easy to negotiate...has categories as well as a searchable database. Check it out!

http://www.talstar.com/cat/graphics/index.htm#menu This is the ultimate graphic site...nice clear clipart from Renet. I use this page to start because it loads the fastest.  Worth your patience.

http://members.xoom.com/imageaddict/index.html  I used some art from Image Attic, and it was good.  She has apparently lost all her pages but promises reconstruction. Check back because her things are creative and fun.

http://sherylsgraphics.com/ Sheryl's Country style art is good...the attitude could use a little improvement.  Check out her stuff if you can stand the lectures about putting her logos etc all over your site.  Nevertheless, I think I did use something so here it is.  Sheryl, hon, lighten up! Take an example from:

http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/6355/ Debbie's Garden of Graphics also has cute country graphics and adorably offers them free, and will even customize them for you.

https://members.tripod.com/~BJ3044/index.html BJ's Designs: Some nice florals/graphics on the ornate side.

http://www.cateringnet.co.uk/clipart/clipfood.htm Lots of repeats from Renet's site, but I used a lot of their food items because they were faster loading pages.

http://www.designedtoat.com/ Designed To a T...beautiful graphics, good Paintshop pro tutorials.

TIPS & TUTORIALS

http://www.designedtoat.com/  DESIGNED TO A T :This site is listed here but I also used some of their beautiful graphics. However, the address was stuck in a frame, and I was unable to extract their home page addy. If their tutorials are as good as their graphics, you should really check it out.

http://www.callaspot.com Calla has some of the best tutorials anywhere around. Her site is down for some reason, but I'm giving you the addy in case it comes back up.

http://www.pspro.ml.org/ Paint Shop Pro Tutorials on both psp image making and website construction. Great.

CLIPART SEARCHERS

http://www.webplaces.com/search/  This place has less popular search engines, as well as a registration service for new websites.

FREE WEBSPACE PROVIDERS

http://www.tripod.com This is the one I use, and they give 11 megs of space for free, among other services.

http://www.geocities.com Lots of folks use this one too, but I found it hard to find a place.
