You nod to everyone and return their salutations. You open your mouth to speak when suddenly, you find yourself unable to speak. You feel trembly, your knees weak. You look down at yourself only to find fine long legs with hoofs! You rush over to the pond and stare at your reflection. Much to your shock and dismay, you have been transformed into a deer. You bleat stressfully while the people around you stare at you. You feel a light touch on your rump and you swing around to find a large black panther in your face, sharp fangs bared in a grin. You shriek a deer shriek and fall backwards into the pond with a loud sploosh! The cold water makes you tingle and algae clings to you. You struggle through the water plants as the panther's laughter reaches your ears. You stop fighting the water and float, staring at the big cat on it back, howling with laughter, clutching its stomach. You frown and clamber out of the pond, shaking the water off. You bleat reproachfully at the panther. It opens its enormous yellow eyes and gazes at you apologetically. It rolls back over gracefully onto all fours.
You feel the tingle again as your body reforms itself back to your original form. To your brief surprise, you are completely dry. You turn towards the panther to find that it has disappeared. In its place is a girl, slight of height. She looks at you and hops onto a tree branch.
