Unfortunately he's all thats left of his flight. I do Believe VONO shows up later but for the moment he's alone. What an intact flight could have done here..*sigh* Anyway, line up and in we go.

Goner was flying one of these 17's - "i saw KdF fire away at the buffs in front of me (eventually a gunner gets him) and then VonO and another Me-109 line up on my six and blast me to bits ... if there had been more of you, you could have killed the whole bombgroup ; hardly a gunner among us, as you noticed."

Hohoho this guys in trouble. The gunners are blazing away in all directions, and his Left Centre engine has stopped. Later, his Right Centre Engine stops as well and his gear drops (?) but i didnt see him brew up. However, i'd be surprised if he made it home.

This is the buff from pic 3 I think, both his inside engines have stopped and he evades the Bf109F by pulling high and left, but hes really smoking, Kdf makes another pass, toasts a 17 then gets his from the Various gunners, just as VONO begins his run chased by escorts i think.
