[Grune The Destroyer]



Grune the Destroyer was, suprisingly, an original member of the ThunderCats with Jaga many years ago on Thundara. Standing a staggering nine feet tall, he is an extremely accomplished fighter who proved more than a match for anyone he faced. Unfortunatly, greed and corruption had bestilled themselves on Grune, and he attempted to overthrow Jaga and claim his place as Lord of the ThunderCats. After a grueling battle, Grune was defeated and banished into the far regions of space by his one-time friend, and eventually landed on Third Earth. Sealed within a tomb there, he was eventually awakened by two overly curious Bulkins and ravenged Third Earth.He was suprised to find the ThunderCats were also on the planet, and sought to destroy them. Since his body was destroyed many years ago, his spirit caused trouble for the ThunderCats and they were unable to harm him. Figuring they had to use a ghost to beat a ghost, they called upon Jaga, who once again fought and defeated Grune, re-sealing him within his tomb.
Grune was later awakened by Mumm-Ra to fight the ThunderCats on Thundara, but now in a physical form, he was defeated and sealed for a third time by Lion-O.

So this is what the ThunderCats have become... and led by a mere cub...
