Mumm-Ra has been the ThunderCats arch nemesis since the very beginning. Actually a demon priest from 1000 years ago, he has been serving his masters, the Ancient Spirits of Evil, for all these years, and they have granted him immortality for his unwilling service to them. Residing in his Black Pyramid, Mumm-Ra has usually been beheind most of the problems the ThunderCats have faced. Possessing many magical power, Mumm-Ra can fly, grow, change shape, fire blasts from his hands and even turn into a more powerful form granted by the ancient spirits he worships. Although his plans to defeat the ThunderCats were never always successful, he has made it his duty ever since they arrived on Third Earth to destroy them.
