The Thunder Cats are a group of protectors who insure the peace of 3rd Earth. They are the only known survivors of the once great planet, Thundara. They have been defending 3rd Earth from any evil force, under the code of Thundara,
"Truth, Honor, Justice, and Loyalty."

[Liono]


Liono, The lord of the Thundercats, is the teams fearless leader. Although one of the youngest members of the team, Liono has been chosen personnely by the teams former leader, Jagga. Liono is still mentored by Jagga's spirit, which only he alone can see. Liono is also the holder of the Sword of Omens, a weapon holding the Eye of Thundara, the source of all Thundercats power.

[Panthro]


Panthro is the brains of the ThunderCats team. A accomplished engineer, Panthro has created most of the tools used by the ThunderCats to aid them in battles against the Mutants and Mumm-Ra. His pride and joy is his ThunderTank, an all-terrain vehicle used to transport the ThunderCats over land and undersea. A skilled fighter, Panthro would never resist the chance to show off his strength.

Stronger than me!? Not likely.

[Tigra]


Tigra is the architect that built Cat's Lair the Thundercats base. He carries a bollo whip that can make him invisible for brief periods of time, as well as send a few Mutants running. Tigra posseses the ability of mind-manipulation which makes someone believe they are seeing and experiencing something they are not. This power is not used much, as Tygra does not wish to toy with other peoples minds

[Cheetara]


Cheetara as the power of speed. She has been known to run a mile in only 30 seconds, the only downfall is she can only maintain this speed for two minutes before she needs a rest. She is also extremely agile and can fight as well as most of the male memebrs of the team. Her weapon of coice is a staff that can change size and split apart, as well as the occasional energy blast form the tip. Cheetara is also blessed (or cursed) with the power of a 'sixth sense' that she can use to sense the presence of danger, which she has yet to master.

[Wily Kat & Wily Kit]



The twins Wily Kit and Wily Kat are the youngest members if the Thundercats. Seperate they lack power, but together that are as powerful as a full grown Thundercat. They are always tricking others, even if it means putting themselves in danger. They carry small capsules that can explode on contact or create illusions or smokescreens. Like Lion-O, they have much to learn about what it means to be ThunderCats.

[Snarf]


Snarf is a gentle being the Planet of the Snarfs who was in charge of taking care of Lion-O in his youth. Since Lion-O has grown up, Snarf's usefulness had diminished, and often times he had wondered if he sould een be on the team at all. With some convincing by the rest of the group, he decided to stay and even helps the ThundeCats on certain missions.

[Bengali]


Formally a blacksmith on Thundara, Bengali, along with Pumayra and Lynxo escaped the dying planet with the aid of the Ro-Bear Berbils. Able to repair just about anything, he often times assists Panthro in the construction of new vehicles and weaponry. He even once repaired the sword of Omens when it was destroyed by Tug-Mug, a feat only a true blacksmith could accomplish.

[Pumayra]


Pumayra, like cheetara, is extremly fast and agile. she uses her speed to defeat her enemies and moreover, perplex them. Formally a medic on Thundara, she uses her skills to aid injuried ThunderCats and perscribe cures for various ailments. When forced to fight, she can project spheres of energy from her sling around her waist.

[Lynxo]


When attempting to flee Thundara during it's collapse, Lynxo was blinded by exploding debris. Although his sense of sight has faded, his others have skyrocketed, making him able to hear or smell the slightest thing. The oldest ThunderCat, he often times does not particiate in combat, but if needed, he uses a parabolic disc located on his wrist to temporarily blind and stun enemies.

[Snarfer]



Snarfer, Snarf's nephew was originally from the Planet of the Snarfs just like his uncle, but when duty called, Snarfer came to Third Earth to assist the new ThunderCats, Bengali, Lynxo, and Pumayra. A graduate of Snarf College, he has a bit of knowledge of various machines and books. Although he'd rather be reading comics or eating fast food than battling, he does help the ThunderCats should the need arise.
