Don't take life for granted because nobody knows what life holds for us. Dan is a 34 year old that was always on the go with his 8 year old son.
 So please don't look at these people and think this would never happen to you...Live life as if it were your last day here...

IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!

FOR MY BROTHER DAN !!!!!!!!

My brother Dan has been through alot most of his life. He's learned to handle alot of different things thats come his way.But on 7/3/98 he was given the most hardest thing that anyone would have a hard time to deal with.He was given a wheel chair.(It was a beautiful summer day that turned into the biggest storms of his life) Let me tell you what happened: It was a holiday weekend and he decided to go camping with his friend & his friend's family. They were having a great time canoing most of the day. When they finally went to the campsite,he asked if anyone wanted to go swimming.So they all decided that it would be fun. When they got there they saw alot of people in the middle of the lake jumping off a rock. So my brother asked the oldest boy if he wanted to go over there because he kept saying that it looked fun. The boy said yes but he was scared. So Dan said he would help him. So they swam over to the rock. They were having a great time. When Danny decided to do a shallow dive. Well little did he know was that dive was gonna change his life. He hit the bottom of the lake and never came back up for a while. When he finally did come back up (thank god there was people around) there was a couple of boys still there that helped save his life.They turned him over & waved in a boat. When the boat pulled up to him, the people on the boat brought him to shore.As they were bringing him to shore people were yelling for help and everyone one pulled together to help him out.Some men gave him CPR (as they called it the gift of life) Others gave there towels to keep him warm. Someone called 911. So with all the caring people that day he is here with us today!!!! He's still the same joker, he always was, his mind is still the same but his body isn't for now. (He broke C-5 & C-6.)
