Born: April 5, 1944 in Falun, Sweden

Lars-Erik Sjöberg. One of the first Swedes to go professional in the North American League. He signed up as a free agent for Winnipeg Jets on May 23, 1974.

In the 1977/78 Season, he was named the WHA's Best Defensemen. 

He retired after the 1979/80 Season.
