I decided to add in this movies page because my links page was kinda messy... Anyway, I am going to be adding links and stuff on some of my favourite movies, so just keep on coming back coz there's still a lot more to be done.
Movies...
Hell.
I caught this movie recently with my friends and God, did I have a scare! All the disgusting images of people digging their eyes out, pulling their tongue out, blood vessels popping out of their body, oh, and the creepy whisperings.. "Billy.. Billy", by the time the movie was over, I thought I was gonna faint! It was the longest 1 and a half hours of my entire life. But I love the movie though.
The fact that gorgoeus Jack Noseworthy (Justin) was in it might have something to do with it. But seriously, if you want to have a good scare, watch this! And if you actually do wanna know the real Event Horizon (which is a tunnel formed by two black holes), just mail me! Nobody actually knows where the actual Event Horizon leads to, a third-dimension, hell or another universe. Who would want to sacrifice their lives without knowing what's in it?

My Best Friend's Wedding. I really love this movie. It's funny, light-hearted and enjoyable! I've seen it 7 times and I don't think I would ever get bored of it. I love the soundtrack too.
You must watch out for Rupert Everett, a 38 year old British actor, who steals the limelight from Dermot Mulroney (who plays Michael, Julia Robert's best friend in the movie) He plays Julia's gay editor, and is very witty and charming. Unfortunately, for all those girls who has already settle their eyes on him, HE IS REALLY GAY. I'm sorry, but the best things in life don't come easy. Whaddya waiting for, go catch the show NOW!

The leads being hailed as the hottest talents of their generation, it's
no wonder this modern version of the Shakespearian tragedy was so well received by everybody. I loved the movie because of 3 reasons. I love Leonardo DiCaprio, the soundtrack and of course the idea of marrying someone you have hardly known for two days seems like wonderful! This Romeo and Juliet is "a little more hardcore", as Leo puts it. I especially loved the scene when Romeo falls onto his knees and screams "Juliet!" in despair, (don't we all?). I loved the way he looked so sad and sorry. Oh yeah, and the aquarium scene (you know, the scene where they gaze at each other from each side of the aquarium?) was just SO sweet. Love at first sight. Another person worth mentioning was the black who played Mercutio, Romeo's best friend. He was utterly convincing as a transvestite who would die for his friend... his death scene was so heart-wrenching.
For people who don't like the original version of R&J, I think this version will definitely makes you think differently about Shakespeare, coz it's just so cool! A MUST WATCH.

Picture Perfect.
Starring Friends-favourite Jennifer Aniston, this show is a light-hearted,
sweet and enjoyably movie about a girl who wants to make a mark in the advertising industry, but the harsh reality forced her to stoop to underhanded means to acheive what she needs. And so her best friend took the liberty of lying to the boss that she(JA) needs the money as she needs to support a family, with her fiance and all. And the problem is, her supposed fiance (played by comedian Jay Mohr) was just a guy whom she met at this friend's wedding. JA is only in love with her colleague Kevin Bacon, but in order to live up to her lie, she pays Jay Mohr money to have dinner with her boss. Meanwhile, she has these hot nights with Kevin Bacon, who only started noticing her after realising that she's attached. With numerous plots and devious plans to win him, the story ends up happily. If you wanna have a good time, go catch this movie. Jay Mohr and Kevin Bacon are both as babelicious...

This movie is undoubtly the movie of 1997! I love this movie, man! Call me mad or whatever, but trust me, this is a not-to-be-missed movie with a cast of very promising actors, namely *gasp* Leonardo!!!, and Kate Winslet. It won 8 Golden Globe Awards Nominations, which proves it must be something, and it is also the most expensive movie ever to be produced in history! The gist of the story is - this upper-class girl falls in love with a guy from the steerage but the ship had to sink, and then down they go! One of them dies... it's really tragic.. *sob sob* I guess I need not say much about the plot coz most of you should have seen it already. If you haven't, go catch it. But one word of advice, bring your hankie along okay? :)
