Originally named Krudd Stonefist, Zaki was a prospering young runesmith. His name was well known in Karak-Kadrin and was believed to be good enough to be a runelord: the most prized goal of an apprentice. One inevitable day Krudd decided to prove himself to the Dwarfkind by slaying Zug: a well-known troll who guards the pass connecting them to the ruins of the Old World. Unfortunately, on his way by his own pride and foolishness he charged to dive and tackle Zug at first sight. This fatal move was caught in the eye of the ruthless troll and Krudd was caught in mid-flight and thrown immediately to the rocky ground. Luckily for Krudd, Kragg the Grim was on his way to complete the same deed. Kragg saw the horrid battle unfold and decided to intervene. He drew his mighty blade and with one fell-swoop lopped off Zugs head. In shame Krudd sped off into the mountains before Kragg could do anything. It is said he shaved his head and took the slayer oath but no-one is sure. They say he has gone crazy and when possible he helps out in small skirmishes where he can't be noticed.
