Somewhere in the far, a figure. And another one and another till five creatures were visible. The dwarf looked discouraged, within few moments they would catch up. He would stand and fight, but not now, not in this creepy forest.
Phaitan walked slowly through the trees. There he saw something moving, a crow. He aimed his bow and fired. The crow fell out of the sky. "Not Jaelle", he thought. Suddenly something grabbed him from behind. "I've got you", said Jaelle and she laughed. "Damn," said Phaitan," It's just not my day. Another round?" "Ouright", she said and she flew away like a pigeon, one of here best transformations.
After counting to 50, Phaitan went after her. He walked not
far away when he saw something little fat and small. He fired an
arrow but it didn't go down. But also, he didn't saw the blue
protection field which Jaelle was using. Then, suddenly he saw
four creatures attacking the first one, it was a dwarf he saw by
now. The dwarf was holding is own but Phaitan saw that another
creature was coming from behind. Phaitan aimed his arrow and next
moment the creature fell down. Then he grabbed his sword and
helped the dwarf. The other four creatures were goblins, seeing
the elf, fell in despair and they fled.
"You elves are really strange, first firing at me, then at
those blasted gobbos", said the dwarf. "Sorry",
replied Phaitan," but I thought that you were Jaelle".
"And who's Jae......". Phaitan saw the dwarf staring at
something behind him. Qickly he jumped over the dwarf, turned and
saw two dwarfs, being exactly the same. Phaitan fired two arrows.
The first got stuck in the mail, the second at the other dwarf
was burned by a blue fire. The second dwarf then changed back in
Jaelle.
"I think that I understand now", said the dwarf and he bowed to Jaelle. "Lady Jaelle, I'm Gazok, servant of Thorgrim Grudgebearer himself." Jaelle bowed graciously like only elves can do and said:" It is a pleasure to meet you". Then Gazok put his hand to Phaitan:" And you are?" "Phaitan," he replied and shook his hand. To late he rememberd the firm handshaking of the dwarves and he said:" Can you give me my hand back." Gazok did and laughed " Sorry, I was forgotten how weak elves are."
