While the Witch Elves are known as the Brides of Khaine, there are those who have gained special favor in the eyes of the Bloody Handed God. These are the chosen who lead the dark elves in their worship of their god, and they sometimes accompany the troops into battle to provide spiritual leadership and to ensure they follow the wishes of the God of Murder. Known as the Daughters of Khaine, each Priestess carries a heavy mace said to have been dipped in the blood of the god himself. This black mace throbs loud enough to be heard in the heat of battle, and it is said this is the sound of Khaine's heart beating as he longs for the blood of his enemies.
It is the duty of the Priestess to collect the bodies of the slain to return for burning at Khaine's altar, and stories have been told of a Priestess who pursued an enemy from the battlefield for days before returning with the limp, torn corpses. Indeed, the Priestess is sworn to kill or be killed once she enters into battle, and none have ever returned to the temples empty-handed - either they came with the bodies of their enemies, or they fought until killed.
However, they do not kill just their enemies. It is not uncommon for a Priestess to strike down another dark elf who was 'unfaithful' to Khaine in her eyes. Khaine encourages such behavior in his Daughters, as it ensures that the dark elves shall have no other god to lead them. He cares not if this is by choice or from fear. All murder done glorifies Khaine, even that done by his people on his people.

Weapons/Armour : Dark Mace of Khaine. The Priestess will carry no other weapon, and disdains all armor. "Khaine is our guidance...we shelter in his bloody light."
May Ride : The Priestess may ride a Dark Steed (+3) or a monster (see Monster List).
Magic Items: Each Priestess carries a Dark Mace of Khaine, but it does not count against her magic item total. A Priestess may have up to one magic item, a High Priestess may have up to two magic items.
Special Rules
Fear: The Dark Mace of Khaine beats like a heart, and is loud enough to hear in the heat of battle. Opponents hearing it run in fear at its sound. The Daughters of Khaine cause fear because of this.
Fanatic: The Daughters of Khaine are sworn to bring back the bodies of the dead from battle and will not leave combat until they have done so or have died themselves. To represent this, all Daughters of Khaine are immune to break tests (this does not affect a unit they are part of). In addition, if a Priestess defeats an opponent and that opponents flees, the Priestess must follow-up. They cannot make a leadership roll to avoid this.
Holy Aura: Any model or unit within 6" of a Priestess may make all leadership rolls on the Priestess' Ld score with no modifiers. This is due to the belief that the Daughters of Khaine are the embodiment of the god himself (and not in small part due to the belief any who are seen fleeing from battle will end up on the Priestess' altar anyhow).
Dark Mace : The Dark Mace of Khaine is dipped in the blood of the God during its forging. Because of this, it beats with an unholy rhythm which can be heard no matter how heated the fighting gets. It causes fear (as detailed above). It also drinks the blood of its foes and uses this to restore vigor to the Priestess. When the Mace successfully wounds an opponent, any wounds done will restore wounds the Priestess has lost on a 4+ (one wound for one wound, never to exceed the original number of wounds).
