He disappeared from Tokyo for 6 years and returned to Tokyo with strange powers that he uses with no care about destructing the things that are around him. Dreamseer Hinoto had prophetic dreams about Kamui's role in the end of the world and Kamui has seen the side of the dreams that Hinoto wanted him to see, that is, he was supposed to lead the Dragons of the Heaven -The Seven Seals- to battle against the Dragons of the Earth -The Seven Harbingers - and save the Earth from being destructed and also save the ones he loved -Fuuma and Kotori Monou - but later he saw the terrible truth that Kanoe showed him. Kamui could choose to either lead the Dragons of the Heaven or the Dragons of the Earth. He chose to lead the Dragons of the Heaven, to keep the present state of Earth because he wanted to protect the ones he loved and also because of a very distressing happening. When Tokiko Magami gave birth to the other Holy Sword, her body was ended like Kotori's mother. Aftr Kotori saw the body, she remembered what had happened to her mother and was in a daze. Kamui then decided to lead the Dragons of Heaven. Since Kamui did not choose to lead the Dragons of the Earth, someone had to take his place to lead the Dragons of Earth...A very, very sad result. Only Kamui had a twin and if Kamui had chosen one side, someone had to take the other place, to be the other Kamui. His childhood friend, brother of Kotori, Fuuma had to take the place, to lead the Dragons of Earth. Hinoto told Kamui that when Fuuma had saw his mother's body, he was on the way of becoming the other Kamui. Fuuma, or Kamui, killed Kotori. Kamui was upset about this and so he was determined that since he could not protect Kotori, the least he could do was to find the Fuuma he had known.
After Kamui chose to lead the Dragons of Heaven, he had the Holy Sword sealed up in the center of CLAMP Campus and attended school there with Sorata Arigusawa, Yuzuriha Nekoi and Arashi Kishuu. There, he got along very well with a classmate.
P.S. Kamui looks more like a bishounen after he became one of the Dragons of Heaven and attended school at CLAMP Campus. Perhaps it's because he is more calm. I like his looks in X11. Bishounen among the bishounens.
