Welcome to yet another portion of my massive homepage here on the web. If you haven't already noticed, this here page is devoted to my love of the most extrodinary and moving musical to ever hit the stages of Broadway, Les Miserables. I have been enthralled with Les Miserables ever since I read the book in my sophmore year in High School. Also making me fall madly in love with the musical itself was seeing the video "Stage By Stage" in that very same english class. The afternoon I got out of school, I ran to the local Tower Records, and I purchased the tape of the highlights from the London Cast of Les Miserables. I almost wore that tape thin listening to it day in and day out. All the rest of my Sophmore year and into my Junior year I continues listening to it and longed to see it on stage. Then, on 23 June 1991, my dreams came true. I was bought a ticket to see it by mymother for my birthday. I was so excited, that I couldn't sleep the night before. I was so moved sitting there in the opera house, watching it, reciting the lyrics in my head. I cried during the death of Eponine, and I even creid as Javert committed suicide. that night is one that will live in my mind forever and ever and I am glad to say thatI have gotten to see Les Miserable on the stage.
So now, I have devoted a portion of my webpage here at Tripod to express my love and adoration to Les Miserables and to show my appreciation to Cameron Mackintosh for bringing Les Miz to America.
