MURPHY'S LAWS of WAR
- If you're short on everything except the enemy, you're in combat.
- When you have obtained air superiority, don't forget to tell the enemy.
- The odds of radio failure are proportional to your need for assistance.
- Tracers work both ways.
- Suppressive fire won't.
- If it's stupid, but works, it's not stupid.
- Don't look conspicuous-it draws fire.
- Never draw fire, it irritates everyone around you.
- Never fly wing on another braver than you.
- The lowest bidder made your aircraft and weapons.
- If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
- If you can't remember, the claymore is pointed towards you.
- You aren't Superman.
- All delayed fuses are instantaneous.
- Combat units often fail inspections.
- Inspection ready units often fail in combat.
- Formation flight is essential; it gives them other people to shoot at.
- Try to look unimportant, they may be low on ammo.
- Incoming fire has the right of way.
- If the enemy is in range, so are you.
- Friendly fire isn't.
- The enemy diversion that you are ignoring is the main attack.
- If you are forward of your position, their artillery will be short.
- The easy way is always mined.
- Important things are very simple.
- Simple things are very difficult.
- Anything can get you shot-including nothing.
- The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.
