I think it is safe to say, that most of us feel uneasy, to a greater or lesser extent when we

find ourselves in the company of others with whom we are unacquainted. This is one of

the reasons that we find waiting-rooms full of magazines etc. Through reading or

browsing through these items we can avoid that uneasy situation of making eye-to-eye

contact, or perhaps even worse, having to build a rapport with unknowns.

Sometimes we make 'small-talk'; safe, unmeaningful conversation, which can help to

break the awkward silences we create within our minds. Some people may seem so full of

conversation and confidence that we envy their fluidity and apparent lack of self-

consciousness. However, what is visible on the outside, rarely reflects what is actually

happening on the inside! We all wear our masks at times, some more removed from

reality than others. Often, the more 'gushy' and confidently talkative a person appears to

be, the greater the chance is that they are merely over-compensating for a shy, insecure,

and self-conscious character within; it's their way of dealing with what they feel 'inside'.

As we grow in years and in maturity, we learn to deal with the uneasiness of mixing with

others through the use of 'Social Etiquette', and perhaps a little alcohol, in certain

situations.

Somewhere along the line, many people experience that strange feeling of being

somehow 'linked' with another; vibrating with a kindred spirit, or "soul-mate". That

sensation which defies logic; like 'sparks' across the room; from eye to eye! Sometimes,

this can mark the initiation of a love relationship, or perhaps nothing further happens at

all! And yet, we know inside that something has occurred; some almost tangible

experience, or exchange of thought waves; impulses! It's as if you had met before in a

past life, or it's the "Chemistry" between two individuals that you've heard of. Whatever,

if nothing follows you might spend quite some time after wondering what it was that

happened that night.

Truly, the interaction between humans is perhaps one of the most important aspects of

our lives, for this is where we share our hopes, dreams, joys, fears, and despairs. This is

especially true in those intimate relationships where we ourselves are reflected back, and

in this way we learn to change and grow. This happens more strongly in those

partnerships where a couple work to be more spiritually, emotionally, and physically

close.

Understanding each other within the context of a relationship will greatly increase the

longevity of that relationship and the happiness experienced through it. However,

understanding can be hampered and blocked because most people are largely unaware,

secretive, or idealistic about their innermost selves; and their sexuality especially.

THE LOVE CHRONICLES

Therefore, they may be strongly inclined to give false information when sharing their

personal thoughts, even with partners. This is due in part to social fears and personal

prejudices. Sexual behaviour, for instance, is an instinctive and private aspect of the

essential make-up of all people, and it is difficult to expect them to be open, even with a

counselling psychologist, in these areas. Therefore, understanding the energies created

within a relationship can prove difficult.

Psychological tests are designed by humans and are subject therefore to human

manipulation and misinformation. Hence, they can be incomplete or deceiving in their

results. However, the Birth-Chart was not designed by humans. It is a map of the sky,

and not dependent upon subjective information given by the individual. The information

that is gleaned from the birth-chart is used in comparison with the partners chart. It can

cut through months of work of the counselling psychologist in helping to understand the

workings of the energies present within a given relationship.

The analysis which follows this prologue should be read over more than once, and can be

examined alone, or with the partner to whom it is also addressed, if a chart comparison

was requested of course. Please take the time to read the introductions which will help

you understand what is written, and why it was written. This journal is written and

addressed in the first part to you, and, if it applies here, the second part is addressed to

your partner. The positive aspects of the relationship are grouped together in one section

from your viewpoint. The more negative, or 'challenging' aspects are similarly arranged.

Therefore; when reading through lets say, the 'negative' section, remember that most of

the negative aspects are grouped together for your contemplation and consideration, so

there will be one negative passage written after the other, for several pages perhaps.

Don't lose heart when going through this, as the analysis must be considered as a whole

and no single paragraph should be thought of as confirming a positive or negative

judgement of the potential success of the relationship.
