I feel so lonely,
  what can I do.
I tried so hard,
  to be just like you.
You'd cast me aside,
  when I couldn't please you.
But can't you see,
  I'm my own person, too!
I care so much,
  but what can I say.
I'm so afraid,
  you'll just throw me away.
I wish you could love me,
  without having to hide.
Behind harsh words,
  that are said all the time.
