Released (by Karen R.)
A missing account from an incident referred to as "The Duchess and the Devil" in which Horatio is incarcerated in an "oubliette." This account details the moments following his release.
Sarah B.'s previously missing account from "The Wrong War"
Horatio has just spoken with Captain Pellew after the mission at Muzillac and he reflects on the events that have just occurred

On behalf of the captain of the goode ship Indefatigable, the Duchess' Daughter invites you to peruse the the ship's log. Lieutenant Horatio Hornblower has made this opportunity available.

This page serves as a guide to the traveller who wishes to read certain accounts of the adventures of the officers and crew of HMS Indefatigable. The Duchess' daughter welcomes other accounts of their heroic deeds as well. Please forgive the use of the vernacular. The crew often refers to their beloved ship as the "Indy". They are also, unfortunately, given to bursts of foul language. Captain Pellew asks that the reader forgives the men their coarseness, and learn from the stories of their gallantry and honor.
