A Tale of Two Muses

Tara is dancing around with some guys in a room when a head soldier comes in and arrests her and according to the god they worship Calliope dancing is evil. Xena and Gabrielle arrive the next day just in time and they see a girl is going to be whipped. They come in and fight off the guards and rescue the girl who they find out is Tara. Xena as surprised that is was Tara as Xena believed that Tara had changed. But all Tara’s crime was, was dancing. So Xena and Gab decide to set things straight. The law of not dancing only compels Gab to want to dance even more! Anyways with the help of Autolycus who pretended to be, a well knows follower of Calliope Xena tells him to encourage all the children to learn the art of war. So Xena gets the townspeople and is showing the children the art of using a staff. Xena shows them the movements with the Staff and they copy with out it. Their movements represent dancing but the guards don’t pick it at first. Anyways after a few lessons, Xena gathers the townspeople again. This time Autolycus says that Calliope has spoken and the Calliope permits dancing. So Gab leads the children in the dance and Auto flips in and joins them. He manages to get a dance with Xena. Gabrielle also shows her tap dancing skills. The town is now free to dance J .

Locked Up and Tied Down

Aka Shark Island Prison

Some villages with a warrant for Xena’s arrest fight Xena but she finds out that there is a warrant for the crime of murder. Xena willingly goes with them and Gabrielle defends her in court. Xena accepts the punishment and it is life on Shark island prison for her crime of murder. The evil Xena supposedly DID kill an unarmed woman – Thalasa. Xena ties Thalasa up and left her to be eaten by crabs. When Xena arrives on the prison a hooded woman watches her from the balcony. Meanwhile one the mainland Gabrielle is in a tavern and meets the previous healer of the prison. So she decided she will be the healer and goes on the next ship to the prison. At the prison, the commandant – hooded woman, comes down and we see that she is Thalasa. She now has a wooden arm where the crabs have eaten it off. Xena was sent for the same punishment that she had given Thalasa in the past. Xena was thrown in a pit and rats were sent in to eat her. Gabrielle arrives and meets the commandant and realises that it is Thalasa. So the next morning Gabby goes to find Xena. She finds the room with the opening to the pit and throws in Xena’s Chakrum. Gab gets caught and is sent to be hung. Xena gets out and saved Gab. A fight breaks out and Gab that’s Thalasa back to her office and then saves Thalasa with Xena’s help. They both are free to go

Crusader

Xena and Gabrielle are fighting some warriors then a woman – Najara comes and fights Gabrielle. She is about to kill Gab when she freezes and begs forgivness. Najara claimes to be a bringer of light. She visits villages that are under attack and shows the warriors her ways of light. Xena realises how happy Gab is with Najara. They are going to protect a village when Xena decided she will go see the enemy’s leader, telling Najara that she will not return and will leave Gab with her. When Xena arrives at the enemy’s leaders tent, he mistakes her for Najara and he is afraid of her. Najara kills soldiers if the do not reform completely to her ways, without a fight. Meanwhile gab is undergoing a ritual Ito initiate her into the way of the light. Xena arrives and her and Najara fight over Gab. Najara kicks xena’s butt and Gab decided to go with Najara to prevent Najara from killing Xena. Xena comes to rescue Gab and while Najara is out, she tricks her into thinking Gab is hanging over a cliff when she is really standing on a ledge. Najara and Xena fight again this time Xena forces Najara over the edge but Gab convinces her to not kill her and send her to the courts. Gab and Xena and back together again. But I have a feeling this is not the end of Najara.
