The    Picture    On    My    Wall    ~    February    11/98

"Ballad Trubute to Spednick" ~ The Picture On My Wall

Picture on my wall, I don't remember taking it at all. I guess I was too involved with how clear the sky was, back there.

I can almost feel the warm ray's of sunshine and the gentle rolling waves as they play around my boat.

As my paddle cuts through the water. I long to be there again.

I just want to glide through the water, on this lake and loose myself in all the beauty you've made. Where the water's so clean and the trees are so full and green, on the shore.

But the breeze is blowing again. The wind is blowing again, changing everything again.

And right now, the leaves blow up and the storm comes down on me.

And right now, I see the raging waves and hear the roaring of the rolling thunder. And it wants to capsize me.

And right now, I see the raging waves and hear the roaring of the rolling thunder. And it wants to capsize me.

Until I glance and see you in the stern, guiding me through the storm. Eyes so full of Grace as I look upon your captivating face.

And even though the storms still raged it vanished from my view.

All I had to do was look to you. And I can glide the water without a care in the World, knowing who's behind me.
