The Tour of Langkawi (2.4)

Finish, Stage 2 - Pic taken from www.tdl.com.my The Irish team that went to Malaysia, to partake in this 12 day event was : Dermot Finnegan, Michael Fitzgerald, Aidan Duff, Michael Mc'Nena, Paul Griffin and Eugene Moriarty. They team did not do too bad actually - considering the extreme heat and humidity and also the high standard of racing over there. Michael Fitzgerald finished sixth in a bunch sprint in Stage 2, right behind the likes of Andrea Tafi and Johan Capiot. He also finished ninth in Stage 7. Unfortunately, he, along with Duff, could not finish the 12 days. The other four, however, did themselves no harm in finishing - well no harm except the whole dehydration thing. : ) The results of all the stages are below.
