The official site for the Union Cyclisme Internationale, the governing body for international cycling. Not a brilliant site, but it is well layed out, and has the most up to date UCI news. | |
The official site for the Irish Cycling Federation, the governing body for Irish cycling. This site is well layed out, but it is not updated, ever. Nor is it very informative. | |
Irish Cycling by Séamus Shortall | Excellent cycling site by fellow Irishman, Séamus Shortall, designer of results software used worldwide. It also hosts the official site for the Rás and Junior Tour. |
Phoenix CC Online | The web-site for Phoenix CC. Professionally designed and run, it is quite good, and offers results of all the UCF League Events. |
British Cycling Federation | British Cylcing Federation On-line. The site was been revamped recently and looks great. Overall, it's alot better than it used to be. |
Bulltek Sports Online | Bulltek Sports....Good enough cycling site, but has got an excellent daily newsletter with international results and news. |
CycleBase | A Holland-based international cycling site. Also very good. Highly recommended, if it's international news you are after. |
Jako's Cycling Links | Very good links site by Dutchman Piet Koster. |
The Prutour | Official web site for the Prutour 1999, the fourth richest cycling race in the world. The site is alot better than it was, now that it's being kept updated. |
Tour de Langkawi | Official web site for the 1999 Tour de Langkawi. Interesting and informative. |
Peter Purfield's Irish Cycling | Another very good site on Irish Cycling, dealing more with mountain biking though. |
Cycling News | International news Aussie style. One of the reasons why I don't have international news on this site. |
World of Cycling | Yet another cycling results site. This one is exclusively European, however. |
Kearney's Cycleworld, Galway | Information page on Martin Kearney's bike shop, located in Galway. |
Yorkshire Bikeliner | English company offering cycling trips around England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. |
FineCycling | Another international cycling site. But it's one of the better ones. |
The Bike And Walk Company | German company offering bike and hike tours (in English) around Munich city centre. Good company, good tours. |
Irish Times Online | The best Irish newspaper online, with good sports archives. |
Galway Advertiser | Galway's free local paper. Probably the best place to advertise second-hand goods etc. in Ireland. |
RTE Online | Radio Teilifís Éireann's presence on the internet. Good news e-mail service. |
RTE's Aertel On-Line | RTE's teletext service, now on-line. This link brings you to the Cycling page. |
Doras Directory | Telecom Internet's listing of Irish Sites. Good if you are looking for things Irish. |
Eurosport | The TV channel's web-site. Very good coverage of the Tour de France on it. Also has great coverage of most sports. |
Local Ireland | Local Ireland is a collection of sites for many of the main towns and cities and Ireland. Very good, really, with lots of local information. |
The official site of the next James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough, starring Pierce Brosnan, Denise Richards and Robert Carlyle. Good site, lots of stuff to do on it. |
