A friend took me to this unknown site on 08-04-02. It is said that the lizard with rayed arc is a Hopi symbol along this north south travel corridor. It is just up off the valley floor. Am researching this possibility and will let you know...

This site is OK47. A small shelter above the Twisp river. It hasn't been visited by anyone since the 1930's when Harold Cundy was there...

Lizards and frogs and deer...oh my! Visit this site to see why.

THE NEXT TWO IMAGES ARE NOT LINKS

"Ogopogo" is located on the south end of this large rock shelter. There are 3 food cache sites nearby, as well as a healthy population of rattlesnakes!

Found this single pictograph on the way to Jack's site. This upside down rayed arc looked as though someone had painted a closed eye on the short rock formation.

This site is one of nine along Bonaparte Creek. The animal in the panel is known as a "vacuous quadruped", in archeological jargon.

A very good friend of mine at work took me to this awesome habitation area. There are nine images here, it has never been recorded before. It is Hughes site 3. We found Hughes 2 hiking to it and Hughes 4 on the way home. Quite a day I must say!

Found three other shelter sites within a mile of this one that had evidence of use. Only this one had any pictographs. They are very old in appearance.
