This site features a Chinese influence in the Okanogan atleast 120 years ago if not longer.

There are two shelter sites here. Missed the second one on my 1st visit to the site. It wasn't until I got my hands on McClure's work that I found out about it.

This image and the next one are not links. What you see is what your get. Only 3 images here. The upper one might be a tepee on a hillside, and the one on the right sure looks like a rooster to me!

It was a 5.2 mile round trip hike to this site. Got to revisit three other sites along the way though, and look for new ones. Fished alittle for a steelhead on the way back!

OK 399 is the absolute best site in Okanogan County. It's eastern exposure and good overhang, are the best possible conditions for pictographs. It also features the most striking and powerful image I have ever seen on a panel.

This is site OK 156. A friend at work told me about this one.

A friend from Oroville told me about this site. It is OK 365. The pictographs appear quite fresh, even with a western exposure. Was told that site was also a food processing area.
