The trail is pretty close to Springfield and Marcola.  
Take Marcola Road out of Springfield and turn north (left) 
on a road with signs to Shotgun Creek.  Follow the road 
to Shotgun Creek Day Use Area on the right.  There are 
several trails here, picnic areas, and fields to play in.
