In the year 2002 HORDE OF WORMS returned to the original line up seeing the departure of Peter Cythrawl to persue his own interests and Gord McCubbin leaving the horde due to musical differences. Both partings were necessary for the Worms to progress and were as amicable as possible. Several auditions were held for the lead vokill duties to which no suitable persons were found. At this time HORDE OF WORMS had been working with a young drummer who was completely capable but totally insane. Unfortunately, due to unknown personal problems the young drummer was later found murdered at the bands rehearsal facility!!! This set the worms back again and took some time to move forward after these events. At the begining of the year 2003, Alexander had taken over lead vokill duties and both Brent and Alexander were spliting the bass duties on recordings until a replacement was acquired...

With this situation HORDE OF WORMS undaunted, fought ahead and in 2004 released the dynamic blasterpiece in the form of their third full length "The Uncreation" seeing Brent and Alexander splitting bass duties once again. With the assistance of Lych (Sentient) handling the session bass duties, HORDE OF WORMS detonated live several times during 2004/2005 and have taken some well deserved time off from performing live.

In the year 2005, the mighty HORDE OF WORMS released their fifth recording in the form of a mcd titled "Unearthly Desolation"!! Anno 2006/2007 saw HORDE OF WORMS promoting their latest release and welcoming the first new worms in some time with Jeff Kurkowski on bass & Dave "Wildman" Szaba on the drums! The worms detonated live at the Bloodbucket Metalfest IV in October and began writing a new full length release as well as making a Best Of... titled "A Decade Of Blastphemy" to celebrate over a decade of Canadian Fucking Blast Metal!!!

As of present day (May 2009) the worms are continuing to write new material which will surface in late 2009 or early 2010 as well as getting the final pieces together for the "Best of". There has been a line-up change also seeing the departure of both Jeff Kurkowski and Dave Sztaba and the arrival of Erich Kennedy (x-Lapidate, Adversarial) on drums and long time friend Spiros Ainis on bass. The band has also been detonating live at various shows/fests showing no signs of letting up, the Canadian Blast Metal storm continues to rage.
