PAINTING SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Living in Port Willunga, South Australia, I enjoy clear skies and bright light within which to approach the painting of landscapes.

My places of inspiration are found along the South Coast
from the Aldinga and Maslin Bays to the mouth of the River Murray. The Flinders Ranges are also in easy reach of eye and brush and form part of my geography of hope.

I seek to interpret the colour and form of the landscape, blending what what I see with he immediacy that watercolours offer.

The works on this page are small, easily scanned and presented.

My works in oils are to be presented here later.

old fellow mountains

worn and silent witness

to passing times

now etched

into the landscape

for our interpreting:

how shall we

read you old ones?

where is the secret

of your mystery

now lost in passing

dreaming?

uncover the dreaming

new and vital

in our time.
