I've just adopted this little dragonling!

When Ecliptar hatched I began training him in his powers!
I've brought in a few things for his training:
A special book on the night cycles, variations in celestial orbits,
and other information he might need with his powers over darkness,
A magical orb which will show him what his powers are doing
when he is learning to use them over long distances,
and I also found some specially alighned piramids for his use because
those who built the piramids had laid them and their rooms out according
to the locations of stars within certain constellations at the
time of their construction.

As an eclipse minidragon,
Ecliptar has the ability to control darkness, shadows, and the creation of both.
Because eclipse minidragons are only found in wild clutches from
gold and silver minidragon matings, I do not know who his parents are.
He is a mutant minidragon so when he is an adult he will have to
follow special rules for mating, whereas Grey Lace can mate with anyone
and only has to worry about her clutches.
Since Silvers can mate with Mutants,
Silver Mareli mated with Eclptar!
Both have grown up together and decided that they liked eachother!

A neat thing about Ecliptar is that
when he is not using his powers on himself,
he will glow with a faint light!
It reminds me of a star's glow but I also agree with
the designer of this species of minidragon
who said it's like the cornea in a solar eclipse!
