BASIC CHAKRAS and CORRESPONDENCES

By

Cerridwen StormCrow

Merry Meet!  Tonight we will be discussing Chakras.  What are chakras?  Well, to be brief, they are energy points in the body.  When you know of these points and work to open them you can greatly enhance your spiritual journey.  Please read on and enjoy.

There are 7 major chakras and many minor ones, including your hands and feet.  The 7 major ones are in a line along the spine starting from the tailbone and ending up at the crown of your head on both sides of the body.  The first chakra is at the base of your spine (tailbone) and the color associated with it is Red.  The second is right below your navel and the color is Orange. The Third is right above your navel (solar plexus) and this ones color is Yellow.  The fourth one is in the middle of your chest (the heart) and it is Green.  The fifth is at the base of your throat and the color is sky Blue.  The sixth is where your third eye should be and the color is Indigo (a purplish blue). The last but not least is the seventh Chakra, which is at the top of your head, and the color is Violet (some people say it is a Gold or white color too...)

Now, with that lightly explained I will get to the nitty gritty.
