Join us on a trip to Knox County, Indiana. The time is around 1806. View the earliest known Adams family members as they plant their roots and watch the tree grow. Family members develop new identities and branch out into new lives of their own. They move, as many of our ancestors did, going to such places as Mt. Hope, Kansas, Michigan, California, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa and probably more places that we have not yet discovered.
Our Adams family may have come from northern Ireland but that is a discovery yet to be confirmed.
Vanessa's roots involve the surnames Kettle, Knowland and Fusco. The Fusco line comes from Sicily. They may have arrived in New York around 1869 or sooner. They eventually settled in Clark County, Indiana. It is said that a Fusco was close to Al Capone during his era in Chicago.
