Personal:

I am a resident of Ohio living in the southwestern portion of the state. My boyhood was spent in central Kentucky where I was born. I was fortunate to have lived in such a beautiful part of the country. I have attended several universities, among them Xavier and the University of Cincinnati, to study music and education. Fortune has also blessed me in the number of great people I have known in my life. I continue to learn and read and meet new friends. Reading is one of my greatest pleasures. I need a longer lifetime (don't we all) to accomplish all the learning that I would like. My motto is "happiness is peace of mind. Spend your time becoming rich in ideals, tolerance of others, personal creativity, and gaining an appreciation for nature and your place in it."

I hope to travel someday; perhaps I will go to Europe or Australia. I have often thought it would be wonderful to live in Switzerland. Then, one is located in the center of Europe and in striking distance of all the major cities, castles, and cathedrals.

I try to live my life in the moment. I do not build great plans for the future or dwell much on past events; it just isn't necessary. For me, this seems to work.
