How quickly must time go by
When yesterday is suddonly last week?
Will we walk accross the stage one last time
Still lacking the answers we seek?
The future is a delightful mystery
A part in which we all must play
While living our lives in distant harmony
In hopes of meeting again one fine day
Perhaps one day our paths will cross once more
At a twilight on a sandy beach
Or maybe in a smoke filled cafe in St. John's
Over a bottle of Newfoundland screech
Yes on that day we will remember 1998
And all the found memories that lie therein
We will laugh about how we haven't changed a bit
And about how our hair is growing thin
To be reunited again after so many years
Before continuing along our seperate ways
Pausing just briefly to wave farewell, to say
"I'll see you again... One of these days"
But no matter how far appart we are
Or how wealthy and famous we may get
We will always be bound by the spirit of the Kingfisher
And of the memories
Of one fine day
That we will never forget
