Meditation is a natural state of consciousness. Every day we pass through meditative states.....naturally, and for most of us it happens without us being aware of it. This is how meditative yoga differs from natural, spontaneous yoga. Observe a child at play or a politician watching another politician giving a captivating speech. If you call to these people chances are they wont respond to you. They are not ignoring you they are so focused on what they are doing that they are oblivious to everything else. This total flow of consciousness upon one thing or activity is a state called Meditation (Dyarna). Suspension of all other time and space.... "Ware was I?"..."Time flys when you are having fun." Stop reading this for a moment; gently place your attention on the center of the clear spot below.
