The Great Hall of Zen's Domain

You are in the Great Hall of the Keep of Zen's Domain this grand hall was completed in the time of the Tatrix's Great-Great-Grand Tassna. The principle building material is the costly honey coloured stone imported from the Ta Thassa mountains in Southern Gor; a long and costly voyage by sea and river then overland into the Thentis Mountains. It sets off the pure black marble collumns imported from the Voltai Range to the South East at both great cost and great risk. the walls are decorated with the mural paintings and other decorations of the finest artists of Ar, inculding the great Master Mika^Ngelo with hung paintings by Master Rem`van Vosk of Port Kar. Depicting scenes from the Glorious history of the Domain and its Rulers. The guilding in this one hall alone took 100 Gold Tarns of Ar, double weight beaten to foil by craftsmen. The view you see is towards the serving area and kitchen from the middle of the hall out of shot but to the left is the sandpit with its black marble whipping post; to the right the great fireplace and behind; Lady Zendolyn's high dias with the platforms of her friends and allies beside her, the left being reserved for residents and the Ubarate of Tysaria, to her right other diginataries and visitors.
