Giggles wanted me to tell you all how well she did today at her first puppy match.
It was a hot muggy day, maybe 105° here in southern California. Giggles won BEST OF BREED! Shhhhh, don't tell her there was one other zoi puppy. Giggles gaited perfectly on a lose lead, and basically showed herself, like a little princess! She even smiled at the judge and wagged her tail, as she was being examined.
*Sigh* ... During group Giggles forgot everything she had been taught and said: "Ok Mommy I'm ready to go home now"! She then got her cute curly nine month old butt dumped. This pleased Giggles because the club thoughtfully had set up a few kids wadding pools filled with 300 pounds of ice for the dogs. Giggles thought this was her very own swimming pool and had a great time visiting the ice pool all afternoon - less time in the ring and more time in the pool. Giggles especially liked the sound that the ice made as it crunched under her feet.... She giggled madly :-)
