by Ellen Khamistos

Since the day I met you
        I've never been the same
I couldn't keep my eyes of you
But you're the one to blame

I waited for you to notice me
And I thought you always have
I wanted to to make a move

        But you would never dare

        I finally got the courage
        And made the perfect step
        You gladly excepted it
Which made me hope it was not a trap

You made it to the party
        And I will not forget
The perfect kiss you gave me
And I hoped it would never end

        A week after the party
        We finally met again
You didn't show a sign of determination
But I thought it was some game

        You continued to ignore me

        My friends said you're untrue
They told me that you kissed me
        To have something to do

I didn't want to believe them
        But I finally realized
That you were just a lowlife
And I shouldn't waste my time

You've gone on with your life
        And I've found someone new

Although it was good while it lasted
And there's nothing you can do.
