| WARNING!!! Please note that a Mr. Shin who used to live in Mr. Kim's village and cooperated with Mr. Kim in the past with the breeding of MBOs has been breeding mongrels (significant infusions of various mongrel types found in the Korean countryside) and is now claiming that he has the true "performance bred" MBOs at their original, useful weights of 15 lbs. or less while Mr. Kim has been breeding for looks and size. Mr. Shin: "You gonna tell me that one of those heavy sluggish 25 lbs. dogs of Kim's can do something other than lie on the porch all day?! However, I don't want MBO breeders to keep attacking each other. If this keeps up, in a few years, we won't be able to give one away." Do NOT be fooled! Mr. Kim broke off all ties with Mr. Shin decades ago because of Mr. Shin's refusal to keep the MBO lines pure. Below are pictures of some of Mr. Shin's "MBOs". |

| Please note the pointy muzzle and smaller frame on the dog to the left (shows heavy Chihuahua and/or Pit Bull infusion). Also note the blue color of the typier dog on the right (Catahoula and/or Neopolitan Mastiff infusion). Mr. Shin claims that his MBO's are better performance dogs but do not be fooled! They tend to be man-shy and are not good protection dogs like the true MBOs are. They have significant infusion of Chihuahua and other outside blood and some examples of Shin MBOs look exactly like slightly larger Chihuahuas except they are not as game as the Chihuahuas. Because of the inconsistency in the appearance of the Shin MBOs, unscrupulous individuals who wish to profit off of the rewarding cost of a true (i.e., Kim) MBO, yet unwilling to spend the money required to obtain true specimens of the breed have been cross breeding various breeds, forging paperwork and referring to their dogs as "Shin MBOs". Also, Shin MBO fanciers' claim that Kim MBOs cannot jump onto the sidewalk from the street is absolutely untrue! Upon request, I can furnish proof on videotape of Kim MBOs jumping onto a sidewalk from the street. Heck, some of the footage shows them doing it from the sit position! Shin MBOs do not have a monopoly on such an ability. Do not be attracted to the cheaper initial purchase price of a Shin "MBO" - it will cost you more in the long run. This is definitely a case of buyer beware. |
| NO DOGS BRED OR SOLD FOR ILLEGAL PURPOSES! The stories that adult MBOs can defeat American Pit Bull Terrier puppies (8 weeks old or younger) on a regular basis are not true. MBOs were not bred to be fighting dogs. Because of their great strength, courage, heart and biting power, a good game adult MBO can occasionally beat an APBT puppy which weighs less than the MBO but the MBO cannot defeat APBT puppies on a regular basis. They were not bred for that. MBOs have been bred to be farm utility dogs, killing rats in the farmer's fields, catching frogs for the dinner table, defending its master's home against grasshoppers, and being a buddy to the kids. DO NOT match or roll your MBO with an APBT puppy! It is immoral and you will end up losing your shirt! |
