Mavilette Beach is a beautiful sandy beach just south of Cap Sainte-Marie. Here you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and view of the bay and the village of Cap Ste.-Marie. Here also is the ocean end of the Mavilette River. For those who enjoy bird watching and easy still water paddling...then into some easy moving water with sand on each beam... this location is ideal at low tide...a great place for the younger kayak paddlers to practice their cornering abilities without risk...and for the older young at heart to goof off.
