Acadian 165th Battalion - "C" Company
The 165th Battalion had a contingency made up primarily of Acadians. These were recruited from all walks of life but in most cases were average every day young boys in their teens and early twenties. This will be the story of one of the companies of this Acadian battalion..."C" Company...which was under the command of Major Emile Jean Stehelin...my step mother's dad.
