A PROTEST TO PROTESTERS
I wrote this when my son was in Saudi in Desert Storm. It was a time when there were protesters. Of course the worst cases I can remember was the Viet Nam era. Anyway Saudi was when this was written.
You take advantage of our constitution,
For you I have a great solution.
Why don't you leave and don't come back,
We don't want to hear your flack.
You yell for peace while our sons fight,
Thet die for you and that don't seem right.
Your America's disgrace, you bring her shame,
Your not worthy of her name.
You burn the flag our troops hold high,
Your lack of pride, makes me cry.
The reporters put you on the air,
To give you the time, just don't seem fair.
There's other news worth their report,
To give you attention, gives Saddam support.
I'd like to load you like a bomb,
And drop you on that rat Saddam.
Either support the red, white and blue,
Or leave our country, we don't need you.
The ACLU has a problem that festers,
The trouble I'm sure, is a yellow protester.
